The surgery is typically done in the operating room, which is a good thing, but for the most part, it’s done on a table with a nurse on the other side, and sometimes a patient sits with a surgeon nearby.
It’s not uncommon for a patient to have a difficult time feeling comfortable with this type of procedure, especially if they have a large breasts or are overweight.
But some women with larger breasts have been known to choose a different type of surgery and have the procedure done in their home.
One of these women is Samantha S. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, who underwent an orthopedic surgery last year.
“The surgeon wanted me to have an orthopaedic procedure, so I had the operation,” she told Vice News.
“They did a full-body procedure, and then we did the tracheostomy.”
Samantha told Vice that the operation took about two weeks.
“They gave me a lot of fluids, and I had a little bit of a fever, but it was not severe,” Samantha told the outlet.
“I didn’t really feel any pain.
And it was nice, because I was in my home, and my mom and my dad were out of town, so that was nice.”
She added, “It’s nice that they’re not going to have to be here.”
“I’m really happy, and it’s been really good.”
Samantha told Vice she plans to have surgery on her larger breasts again this year.
“When I got the surgery, I was not really sure what to expect, but they said it was pretty quick,” she said.
“And I feel really good.
I’m very happy with it.
I feel like it was worth it.
